It is extremely busy on Saturday Morning from
9 AM - 1 PM.  Please try to wait until after 1 PM on Saturdays to attend the shows to wait less time. There will be waits from 9 AM - 1 PM.  We have occupancy limits and demand for guns, ammo, and self-defense items are at their highest in U.S.& Virginia history.  

Which ONE of these statements is not true?
1) World War One ended in November 1920
2) The President of the United States ordered the US Army to invade Russia and we fought Communists for two years.
3) The NRA’s National Firearms Museum is 85 years old.
4) There were no voter irregularities in the 2020 election.

Believe it or not, the first three statements are absolutely true ! For nearly 10,000 US soldiers, World War One did not end until November of 1920. Men of the 27th, 31st and 339th Infantry Regiments were sent to Russia in 1918 and did not leave until 1920. In those two years they fought numerous engagements and lost 48 men in combat related deaths.

One Captain of the 31st Infantry, Roy F. Lynd of Kansas, kept a detailed diary of his time in the Siberian Expedition. The only souvenir that he kept was a Model 1895 Nagant revolver, made at the Tula Arsenal in 1914. Complete with the original brass lanyard, Colonel Lynd’s son, Colonel Robert F. Lynd (USA RET) recently donated his father’s trophy to the National Firearms Museum. It is the centerpiece of our display at the November 20 – 22, 2020 Nation’s Gun Show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. This Beretta was the signature sidearm of police officer John McClane during the hostage holdup of the Nakatomi Plaza in the 1988 film Die Hard. Often called "The best action movie of all time," the success of the film gained popularity for the Beretta 92, and that same model remained Bruce Willis' sidearm throughout much of the Die Hard series. It was also used by Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon.

The evening of Friday November 13th, an Executive Order by the Governor was posted that would essentially shut down the Nation’s Gun Show.   The lawsuit hearing is taking place at 10 AM on Thursday.  Most of the work on the lawsuit has already taken place and the two teams of lawyers continue to work.  We have filed a lawsuit in Fairfax County to get a temporary injunction to allow the show to continue this weekend. It is our hope to get this building opened back up so that more events for the community can take place. The legal expenses are estimated to cost roughly $35,000.

Pardoned by Christie, woman pushes for change to U.S. gun laws

The U.S. Special Operations Command awarded Michigan-based Trijicon on Wednesdaya $7.62 million contract for handgun sights. The firm-fixed-price contract for what the military terms as a Miniature Aiming Systems — Day Optics (MAS-D) Handgun Reflex Sight (HRS) is set to run over a five-year period.

According to the award, the sight is “a low profile, wide field of view, passive sight for rapid day and night pistol target engagements in confined spaces, while prisoner handling, or in extremis after the primary weapon malfunctions.”

The U.S. military in recent years has embraced ruggedized miniature reflex-type, or RMR, sights on handguns. The winner of the Army’s Modular Handgun System contract, variants of the Sig Sauer P320 adopted as the M17 and M18 pistols, include a removable top plate for an RMR system.

Time slots are to keep people from waiting in line for 3 hours and still not being able to get in.  Occupancy is too low to run normally.  Normal turnover time is 1 1/2 hours for a 500 table show.  You can by additional consecutive time slots to stay longer.  Ticket prices are reduced.  Thank you for your understanding.

Medal of Honor Recipient Audie Murphy Single-handedly Stopped a German Attack. From Murphy's exposed position on top of the burning tank destroyer, he killed over 20 German soldiers and repelled their attack 75 years ago. ... On April 23, 1945, at the age of only 19, Murphy received the Medal of Honor for his actions.  

Audie Leon Murphy was an American soldier, actor, songwriter, and rancher. He was one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of World War II. He received every military combat award for valor available from the U.S. Army, as well as French and Belgian awards for heroism.

He wanted to join the Marines, but he was too short. The paratroopers wouldn't have him, either. Reluctantly, he settled on the infantry, and ultimately became the most-decorated hero of World War II. He was Audie Murphy, the baby-faced Texas farmboy who became an American legend. Murphy grew up on a sharecropper's farm in Hunt County, Texas. After his father deserted the family, he helped raise his 11 brothers and sisters, dropping out of school in the fifth grade to earn money picking cotton. He was 16 years old when his mother died, and he watched as his siblings were doled out to an orphanage or to relatives. Seeking an escape from this difficult life, Murphy enlisted in the Army in 1942 — falsifying his birth certificate so that he appeared to be 18, one year older than he actually was.

This Model 29 revolver was used in both Dirty Harry (1971) and Magnum Force (1973) by actor Clint Eastwood, who portrayed legendary San Francisco detective "Dirty Harry" Callahan. It was later presented to writer John Milius. This revolver was part of the 2002 exhibit "Real Guns of Reel Heroes" at the National Firearms Museum.

Shopify quietly revamped its policies Monday, effectively banning the sale of certain guns, gun parts and accessories for online retailers using the e-commerce platform.

Shopify’s Acceptable User Policy underwent changes to include a new category of restricted items. On the updated list, semi-automatic firearms that accept a detachable magazine and offer a capacity greater than 10 rounds are no longer considered acceptable for sale via Shopify. Additional restrictions banning the sale of unfinished lowers, pistol grips, forward grips, threaded barrels, suppressors, thumbhole stocks and magazines over 10 rounds have also been instituted.

During the filming of this scene, it was one of the last ones they had to do because Mel wasn't comfortable filming it. Finally, when it came time to, it was done on a closed set with only the Director, Mel, and the Cameraman. When Mel hits himself with the gun, the Cameraman began to break down crying along with the director, and after cutting they all hugged it out. It showed the three really felt that scene because they had been through the same boat.

​These are tough times.  Many people feeling this emotion.  It is very stressful on many, don't ever take your life - it is never as bad as it seems.  This to shall pass.  Many people are going to need help - our true worthy purpose is in helping others. Find someone that you can be their hero and in turn, you will enrich yourself.

Politicians from the largest city in the Canadian gun control stronghold of Quebec plan to put their weight behind a raft of severe gun restrictions next week. According to a report from Radio Canada International, the Montreal City Council is set to vote Monday to adopt a resolution that would echo the Toronto City Council’s call for new federal gun controls.

Following the shooting deaths of two people in Toronto’s Greektown neighborhood by an attacker with an illegally obtained handgun in late July, the Toronto City Council adopted a resolution supporting several federal and local gun restrictions. The measure called for a nationwide ban on all handguns and semi-automatic firearms, a prohibition on the at-home possession of firearms, shuttering the remaining shooting ranges and gun clubs in Toronto, and a local ban on the sale of handguns and “handgun ammunition” within the city.

The founder of the controversial Texas company that sells blueprints for untraceable 3-D printed guns has resigned after his arrest on charges of having sex with a minor, the company announced Tuesday.

Cody Wilson, 30, tendered his resignation to his own company, Defense Distributed, on Friday evening to tend to “personal matters,” said Paloma Heindorff, the company’s director of development.

Philadelphia - Daryl M. Brooks releases his new book 37 DAYS, The Disenfranchisement of a Philadelphia Poll Worker which outlines his experience during the 2020 Presidential election.

"I'm excited to tell my story about what I saw and what I experienced at the Philadelphia Convention Center.  In many ways it was surreal.  I went in to do my civic duty, and what happened may change America.  It will certainly change the way we understand election integrity" said Daryl Brooks, who is both a former U.S. House and U.S. Senate

The book details what happened days after the election along with the work Daryl did with former Trump Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski, and America's Mayor and personal counselor to the President, Rudy Giuliani.

"Corey [Lewandowski] looked at me after I told him what I saw and asked me if I'd be willing to say something.  Hell yea I'd be happy to say something.  To me, it didn't matter who won this damn election at this point.  It was all about maintaining the integrity of the election itself.  Without election integrity, our democracy is dead," Daryl Brooks discusses in the book as he see's his allegiance to America as the most important aspect in this election integrity fight.  

 He goes on to underscore the importance of the electoral process: "The next day lawyers from the Trump team picked me up from the Philadelphia Convention Center and took me to the Four Seasons Construction Site.  There, I met with Giuliani and told him the same story that I relayed to Lewandowski.  Sitting side by side with the man, I went over every detail of what happened in Philadelphia.  While explaining everything to him, a young woman from his team walked in the room and informed him that the AP just called the election for Biden.  All was quiet as everyone there looked up, waiting for a response.  Giuliani curtly responded, "it doesn't matter.  The AP, CNN, and NBC don't pick the President."
